Paulette's now an HR Master (extracted from the Sunday Sun March 29th , 2005)
President of the Barbados registered Nurses' Association Paulette Drakes has gained a Masters Degree in human resource development from the Manchester University in Britain.
Paulette recently returned to Barbados after completing the one year course of study. She holds a bachelor's degree in nursing education from the University of the West Indies, Mona, and is now a nursing educator with the Ministry of Health.
The former student of Christ Church Girls' Foundation School received her early training at Joyce Green Hospital in Dartford and did midwifery at Oldham and District Hospital, later working as a midwife at the City of London Hospital.
