The elections for the officers to serve on the excutive committee were speedily conducted with the following results.

Post Name
President     Vicki Mondore
1st Vice President  David Beckles
2nd Vice President  Cheryl Alleyne
Treasurer  Lana Lashley
Administrative Secretary  Sandrene Browne
Recording Secretary  Sherifer Philips
Public Relations Officer  Andre Murrell
Floor Member Margaret Lorde
Floor Member Ricardo Puckerin
Auditors  Orson Simpson
Auditors  Wayne Lovell

All of the officers were elected unopposed and no one nominated declined the nomination.

As you can see most, if not all of the members are young persons once again and would have served in the previous executive, from 2006 to 2007. New to the executive this year is Ricardo Puckerin who is a teacher at Foundation School. His presence on the executive should greatly improve in the flow of information between the school and the association.

Subs

For over a decade the annual subscription to the Foundation Old Scholars' Association has been maintained at $23.00 ($20.00 +VAT). At the Annual General Meeting held on March 17th, 2007 the general body voted and it was decided to have the subscription amount changed to $50.00 ($50.00 incl. VAT). This change will take effect from January 2008.

All persons who paid subscriptions for the period 2007-2008 will pay the current $23.00. However after December 31, 2007 any one who needs to pay subscriptions must pay the new rate of $50.00 VAT inclusive.
